The overall logic of the course is that effective operations management is a pre-requisite for all organisations – private or public, manufacturing or service – that seek to create sustainable value. Those organisations that are widely admired all have built their success on exceptional operations capabilities. The course will explore these paragons of operating virtue but also discuss the operational challenges faced by all organizations and introduce a toolbox for participants to make sense of and impact those they face.

The program is based on action learning where theories, methods, concepts and tools are employed on real business challenges and issues from the participants companies. Lectures are paralleled by casework, group work and assignments.
