Course Content

Energy renovation of old apartment buildings is important because it reduces energy consumption, improves the indoor climate and reduces CO₂ emissions. Updated technical installations increase operational reliability, lower maintenance costs and extend the life of the building. At the same time, the renovation creates better comfort and increases the value of the property. This benefits residents, the economy and the climate in the long term and strengthens the future sustainability of the building.
The students prepare a Tender Project and Execution Project for a building renovation, with the following objectives:
• Design a new bathroom
• Design changes to the climate shield proposed in the Energy Label.
• Design new water, drainage, heating and ventilation installations
• Economic assessment of the costs of the proposed solutions.
