Overall Course Objectives
To enable the student to analyze and design analog amplifiers with an emphasis on integrated circuits in CMOS technology
Learning Objectives
- Know large signal models and small signal models for MOS transistors and use the models for circuit analysis
- Analyze single-transistor amplifier stages realized with MOS transistors
- Analyze differential stages realized with MOS transistors
- Analyze multistage amplifiers realized with MOS transistors
- Analyze circuits with negative feedback
- Design a simple two-stage operational amplifier realized with MOS transistors
- Design simple circuits for the generation of bias currents and bias voltages
- Simulate CMOS integrated circuits using LTspice
- Apply Danish as well as English electro-technical terminology
