Overall Course Objectives

To enable the student to analyze and design analog amplifiers with an emphasis on integrated circuits in CMOS technology

Know large signal models and small signal models for MOS transistors and use the models for circuit analysis
Analyze single-transistor amplifier stages realized with MOS transistors
Analyze differential stages realized with MOS transistors
Analyze multistage amplifiers realized with MOS transistors
Analyze circuits with negative feedback
Design a simple two-stage operational amplifier realized with MOS transistors
Design simple circuits for the generation of bias currents and bias voltages
Simulate CMOS integrated circuits using LTspice
Apply Danish as well as English electro-technical terminology
