- Review state-of-the-art in defined Management Science subjects.
- Critically evaluate scientific contibutions.
- Gain an overview of the specific areas in management science covered in the the seminar.
- Present your own scientific progress and challenges.
- Engage in a scientific discussion.
- Act as a reviewer for a scientific report and presentation.
- Develop ideas for future research in Management Science
- Mutual exchange of ideas.
Course Content
After the seminar students are expected to participate in a scientific descussion critically reviewing the approach taken and suggesting areas of related and future research.

42101, General knowledge of Operations research and Operations Management
Teaching Method
Seminar with presentations on recent research in Operations Research, Operations Management, and Financial Engineering. Talks are given by internal and external teachers as well as the participating students.

Minimum: 1, Maximum: 30.
Please be aware that this course has a minimum requirement for the number of participants needed, in order for it to be held. If these requirements are not met, then the course will not be held. Furthermore, there is a limited number of seats available. If there are too many applicants, a pool will be created for the remainder of the qualified applicants, and they will be selected at random. You will be informed 8 days before the start of the course, whether you have been allocated a spot.
