Overall Course Objectives

To enable the student to analyze and use analog amplifier circuits with the main emphasis on integrated circuits in CMOS technology.

Knowledge of large-signal and small-signal models for MOS transistors and being able to use these models in circuit calculations.
Analyze single-transistor amplifier stages realized with MOS transistors
Analyze differential stages realized with MOS transistors
Use multistage amplifiers realized with MOS transistors
Analyze circuits with negative feedback
Design a simple two-stage operational amplifier realized with MOS transistors
Analyse simple circuits for generating bias currents and voltages
Simulate CMOS integrated circuits using LTspice
Understand Danish as well as English electro-technical terminology
Be able to explain challenges in connection with practical implementation of MOSFET-circuits.
