Masterclass in Wind Energy: Offshore Wind Farm Planning
Join this free online masterclass in DTU’s Master of Wind Energy, and gain valuable insights in Offshore Wind Farm Planning.
You are invited to join the new online masterclass in Offshore Wind Farm Planning. This course provides an introduction to the planning process of offshore wind farms by mainly focusing on non-technical aspects of planning. The content of the course deals with regulatory, environmental, and social issues of the planning and development of offshore wind farms and sheds light on central and emerging topics, such as environmental impact assessment, social impacts, developer-stakeholder-interactions, and co-existence. You will also hear about examples of common contestations and conflicts over the deployment of offshore wind farms and how they can be handled in practice.
The masterclass will be conducted by course instructor:
David Philipp Rudolph, Senior Researcher at DTU Wind and Energy Systems.
