WAsP + WAsP Engineering Self-Study Bundle

These two online self-study courses are on demand, ready when you have the time to learn more about WAsP.

By having an employee who has participated in this course the company has access to a person who can manage the WAsP software and knows enough theory to avoid the pitfalls. There are multiple pitfalls which you will be taught but to name a few it could be to choose the correct height for your data, chose entire year for the dataset to avoid seasonal bias and to make sure that the roughness and elevation maps are the correct sizes.

There are specific tasks and assignments, which need to be completed in order to receive the Certificate of Participation at the end of the course, but you can go over the material as many times as you wish. Most importantly, you are asked to complete a case study and hand it in. It will be evaluated by a member of the WAsP Team at DTU Wind Energy and brief written feedback will be given.

WAsP self-study course

• Language: English
• 9 modules to study, 1-3 hours/module, plus a case study of about 8 hours; in total about 32-35 hours.
• You will receive a free WAsP license, which will be valid throughout the eight weeks, giving you access to the complete WAsP suite software.

WAsP Engineering Self-study Online Course

• Language: English
• The course material and software license will be open for a period of 10 weeks. The expected workload is 37½ hours.
• You will receive a free WAsP license, which will be valid throughout the ten week-course period, giving you access to the complete WAsP suite software.
