• Develop and/or deploy advanced security principles/solutions within chosen domain
• Detailed knowledge about security principles/solutions within chosen domain
• Detailed knowledge about security attacks within chosen domain
• Knowledge about standards within chosen domain
• Knowledge about available products within chosen domain
• Describe and analyse a full system with respect to security and possible attacks
• Understand and analyse articles within the problem domain
• Document a project on advanced security principles/solutions in an article in English with a conference or journal as target

Development/deployment and evaluation of advanced security principles/solutions within computer system, embedded system, LAN, cyberspace, Internet of Things, and/or cloud domains; writing an English article.

62407/62501/62530/62575/02233, Software Technology students need 62530 in advance. Other students need skills from one or more of listed courses – or similar courses. You need the basic security knowledge and also programming and system architecture skills.

First day possible projects are presented, often outbreaks from R&D projects with external partners (industry and universities). Second day groups will be formed, project problem description finalized. Supported by supervision, work will go through typical phases, literature study, generation of ideas/solutions, proof-of-concept (implementation, simulation, etc.), comparison to others, and conclusion. Outcome is an English article.
