Webinar: Navigating Uncertainty in Corporate Entrepreneurship

Teresa Sabrina Salvati is head of the CEL™ Corporate Entrepreneurial at DTU Learn for Life, where she supports corporate innovation teams in developing new venture opportunities and navigating uncertainty.

With more than 10 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the USA, and Latin America, Teresa brings a strong global perspective on innovation, business development, and organizational change. She has a background in the heavy industrial and construction materials sector at Aalborg Portland A/S, followed by experience as a corporate business development consultant working with startup and mid-sized global companies. She holds an Executive Master of Business Development (MBD) from Copenhagen Business School, as well as an MSc in Business Administration from Royal Holloway University of London.

In addition, Teresa founded the startup MindfulBusiness.dk in 2016, a community of purpose-driven specialists in holistic business development and employee wellbeing.

Driven by a deep curiosity for people, cultures, and how ideas turn into meaningful solutions, Teresa specialises in facilitating innovation processes, strengthening entrepreneurial mindsets, and creating environments where individuals and teams can collaborate, experiment, and create sustainable, real-world impact. 

Joanne Hyland is Co-founder & President of the rInnovation Group, an ISO innovation management standards expert, and an ISPIM (International Society for Professional Innovation Management) Fellow as well as former Board Director. She is an accomplished innovation strategist, implementation expert, author and industry thought leader, with 25+ years of industry and consulting experience in leading, designing and implementing innovation strategies and management systems. The rInnovation Groups client list includes organizations from diverse industries seeking to change their innovation game such as BASF, Bekaert, Bosch, Clariant, Danfoss, Evonik, Grundfos, HP, LEO Pharma, Moen, NOVA Chemicals, Novozymes, Shell, Tetra Pak, TUV Nord Group, US Air Force, Vestas and among others. Joanne was the former Vice President, New Venture Development, at Nortel Networks. There, she, with her start-up team, founded the internal venturing program, that led to 12 business start-ups, one of which reached a billion-dollar exit.

Joanne is co-editor and author: Changing the Dynamics and Impact of Innovation Management – A Systems Approach and the ISO Standard (World Scientific, October 2022), co-author: Towards a Management System Standard for Innovation (Journal of Innovation Management, 2021), co-author: Pivot – How Top Entrepreneurs Adapt and Change Course to Find Ultimate Success (Wiley, 2013), and author: What’s Next – Strategic Innovation (TATA Journal of Management, 2012). She is a faculty member at the Danish Technical University (DTU) in its Certificate for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL™) program. Joanne has been involved in corporate entrepreneurship programs at Babson College, Danish Business Institute, MIT, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Stanford University, TATA Management Training Center (TMTC) and Industrial Research Institute (IRI).
