Joanne Hyland is Co-founder & President of the rInnovation Group, an ISO innovation management standards expert, and an ISPIM (International Society for Professional Innovation Management) Fellow as well as former Board Director. She is an accomplished innovation strategist, implementation expert, author and industry thought leader, with 25+ years of industry and consulting experience in leading, designing and implementing innovation strategies and management systems. The rInnovation Groups client list includes organizations from diverse industries seeking to change their innovation game such as BASF, Bekaert, Bosch, Clariant, Danfoss, Evonik, Grundfos, HP, LEO Pharma, Moen, NOVA Chemicals, Novozymes, Shell, Tetra Pak, TUV Nord Group, US Air Force, Vestas and among others. Joanne was the former Vice President, New Venture Development, at Nortel Networks. There, she, with her start-up team, founded the internal venturing program, that led to 12 business start-ups, one of which reached a billion-dollar exit.

She is a faculty member at the Danish Technical University (DTU) in its Certificate for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL™) program.
