Jason Li-Ying is a Professor of Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Research Director at the Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship at DTU. With a strong focus on managing innovation in complex organizations, he has published extensively in international scientific journals and collaborates with Big Science Organizations like ITER and ESS. Stephane Guerraz holds an MBA from UC Berkeley in California, a Master in Artificial Intelligence, is a CFA Charterholder and an actuary. After starting his career as a financial engineer, he spent more than ten years as a management consultant, helping corporations with digital transformation. Lastly, Matthias Trischler holds a PhD in busniess and management from DTU, and today he works at Ørsted As Sr. Digital Innovation Strategist & Deputy Manager, AI & Advanced Modelling Roadmap.

Stephane Guerraz

External lecturer, fmr. Head of Studies, MBA

Stephane Guerraz initially trained as a Certified Actuary, holds a Master in Artificial Intelligence from Dauphine University in Paris with High Honors and an MBA from UC Berkeley in California, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
He started his career as a financial engineer on capital markets and in asset management at BNP Paribas (Paris), then spent more than ten years as a management consultant on the West Coast of the US and Canada, helping corporations with digital transformation, transition to agile, organizational reviews and change, and M&A integration. He co-founded a Fintech startup, taught entrepreneurship and investment management at the Langara School of Management in Vancouver and coached teams in business competitions. He was Head of Executive Education at DTU from 2021 to 2022, and in parallel, runs personal development workshops.

Jason Li-Ying

Professor and Founder

Jason Li-Ying is Professor in corporate entrepreneurship and innovation and the research director at the Centre for Technology Entrepreneurship, Technical University of Denmark. He is also visiting professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Austria, and ISM Management School in Lithuania. His work about innovation and entrepreneurship has been published in more than 20 international scientific journals. Jason’s new book, titled “Innovation Management” was published by Edward Elgar in 2020. He has strong collaboration with Big Science Organizations (BSOs), such as ITER and ESS, with respect to managing innovation and entrepreneurship at, for, and with BSOs.
Jason is the founder of the “P3ETS-BITE3” method for managing Corporate Entrepreneurship. Jason is a member of the expert panel for the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Research (for the business and economics discipline). He also serves as a board member at China-Denmark Innovation House and on the advisory board for several technology-based innovative firms in Denmark.
