While machine learning and AI may seem like tools that can bring value to any company, the reality is they only deliver value when operationalized—i.e., put into production. In this course, we introduce the concept of Machine Learning Operations (MLOps), including the tools, practices, and processes needed to understand how modern AI systems can be deployed. You will learn to analyze a business problem in an AI context, identify the required data, model it using AI techniques, and operate and monitor models in production. We also cover how to address risks early to avoid long-term issues.

The target audience for this program includes IT professionals and talented individuals working with or who will work with Machine Learning, as well as managers and leaders eager to deepen their understanding of AI’s future and are motivated to explore emerging AI trends, develop the skills to navigate this rapidly evolving field within their organizations, ask the right strategic questions, and effectively communicate the business value of AI initiatives.

October 1st – November 6th, 2025: In-person educational days will be held on October 2nd, 8th, 9th, and November 5th and 6th. Online educational days are scheduled for 22nd and 29^th October.

The education is structured as follows:

1 day of video introduction (home study before October 2nd.)

3 days of physical attendance (2nd, 8^th and 9^th October)

2 days of online attendance including working in AI tool and chatting online in forum (22nd and 29^th October)

2 days at Digital Tech Summit conference attending workshops and presenting casework (5^th & 6^th November)

The lectures are organized as a hybrid learning program, combining in-person attendance, video sessions, online participation, working with AI tools, and engaging in discussions within an online forum. The course is limited to a maximum of 30 students, and instruction will be delivered through a combination of traditional blackboard teaching and peer-to-peer group activities as casework.

The sessions on October 2nd, 8th, and 9th will be held at Learn For Life, DTU. The events on November 5th and 6th will take place at the Digital Tech Summit conference in Øksnehallen, Copenhagen.
